"Normal" tempo

Hey Lou, can you clarify what "normal tempo" means in NROL? The explanation on 227-8 kind of has me confused. Am I supposed to be using 311 wherever it says "normal," or just whatever feels like a normal tempo to do the exercise? If the former, I've been doin' it wrong...

Loved the book and have been doing the workouts for most of this year. I look and feel like a different person (in a good way).

On another note, is there any conceivable way for me to give your new book to my wife for Christmas without her taking it as an insult?
