Weight lifting for women

Hey Lou,

I am on stage 2 in your book and I am really excited about what I'm starting to see.  I'm looking forward to taking on the other stages.  Afternoon workouts really help me feel accomplished and relaxed at the end of the day, which helps minimize stress caused by the thesis writing.

I have one question, though I know its early yet, but what do you recommend for maintenance?  What do you recommend for the NEXT six months?

I think it depends ...
... on which qualities you want to maintain.

If it's increased strength, then you can do the Strength programs from the original NROL. If you like the changes in body composition -- more muscle, less fat -- then I'd recommend the Hypertrophy programs from NROL.

You can also ask other women what they're doing after finishing the book's programs. We have a forum set up here:
