Gloves for Weight Lifting

I lift about 4-5 times a week and seem to go through my lifting gloves pretty quickly. Also, I am not also satisfied with the amount of grip. I get from my gloves. Is there a certain glove you recommend to people, with maximum grip and durability? I do pretty standard exercises like curls, cleans, bench, etc, but I have to switch gloves every couple months. Thanks a lot, I appreciate any input anyone can offer.

I only use gloves when I

go really heavy (on max days). I use them for wrist support. I have a pair of Harbinger gloves that I have had for eleven years. They have seemed to work well. Other than that, I don’t use them at all. Your hands are pretty resistant.

My favorite teams are the Blazers and any team that is playing the Lakers.

I rarely do...

use gloves that is. When I do, I have a pair of Harbinger gloves with the gel inserts in the palms and the wrist wraps. They are okay but I’ve found that a company called Schiek makes the same type of gloves that are equally if not more comfortable.

You see I’m big into pull-ups and barbell shrugs which are a couple exercises that tend to wreak havoc on my hands. They are basically the only exercises I really require gloves for so I’ve opted for using just wrist wraps. They give me the support I need, they don’t put too much stress on my hands, and still give allow me to feel the weight when I go through the motions. You might want to try that out too.

Gloves are for...

Dont use them, if you are lifting heavy use straps. Women like rough hands.

Thank you all

I will take a look at Schiek, I think I’m going heavy duty, I wear gloves for almost all my lifts.
